Yes, this was actually a thing that happened before the Affordable Care Act passed. But now, people living with HIV and AIDS have more ways to access education and treatment. Your status won’t determine if you can keep your insurance and you don’t have to worry about being denied coverage.
Reason to love Obamacare? Check.
I’d break boys hearts in these boots
Just when you thought your one-sided relationship with her couldn’t get any better, Beyoncé wrote a feminist essay entitled, “Gender Equality is a Myth.” If this makes you want to go back to school and write about the movement that will ultimately be known as Beyoncism, “the interdisciplinary study of how to make feminism the coolest thing ever,” you are not alone.

Which artistic medium inspires you the most?
"Music inspires colours, shapes, textures and concepts for me - I’m an associator synesthete, which means that when I hear music (or any sound, for that matter) I feel, or get an impression of, that sound in my head. I don’t actually see colours with my eyes like folks with projector type synesthesia, it’s more conceptual in my brain. On random occasions, I can feel the sound in certain areas of my body. All of these inspire me to chose certain media (watercolours instead of oils), surfaces (paper versus canvas), and colour themes (brass sounds are always blue, house music is primarily pink)."

How big is the fandom side of tumblr?
I have a girl in my class who thinks that fandoms are only a small percent of tumbler. I challenged her and for every note this post gets she has to listen to a Tori Amos song.
The fandoms are many. The fandoms are powerful.
Q: Do men age more easily?
A: Men in music and the movie businesses turn 50, get a paunch, look as rugged as the Marlboro man and attract younger women. Women get lines on their faces and become rugged too, the Marlboro woman, which is fine but not an aphrodisiac. I won’t talk about Miley Cyrus at the VMAs [MTV video music awards], but I will say women have sexualised themselves and made great art, which they may get flak for, but it’s powerful. But if you sexualise yourself and you’re not making art, you are just sexualising yourself. Everyone’s embarrassed. It’s not very good, is it? You’re just pooping on yourself.

Make Your Move is an effort from Missoula’s Intervention in Action Project, a group of community organizations dedicated to ending sexual violence. Its campaign’s goals are to: 1) Engage men and women as allies to prevent sexual violence by increasing awareness and education about the dynamics of sexual violence and 2) Encourage bystanders to foster healthy non-violent relationships and interrupt attitudes, language and actions that support sexual violence.
